The experience of Annette Larkins, author of My Journey to Health. Annette's family has a history of cancer. Her mother and several of her grandmother's sisters died of breast cancer. One day in 1963, she made a conscious decision to change her diet, she stopped eating meat and became a vegetarian. The fruits and vegetables I ate consisted of various colors: reds, purples, yellows, greens, oranges, and whites. I ate nuts and switched from peanut butter to raw almond butter. I also exercised daily and drank eight glasses of water.

The most important change in my life was the reduction of migraines, which used to be a daily part of my life but now, they only stop by four to five times monthly.
